01Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide, the information generated when you use BodyLoad, and limited technical data.
- Account and profile: name, email address, profile photo, sign-in identifier, preferred language and units.
- Training profile: fitness level, goals, target muscle groups, available equipment, weekly schedule and preferences.
- Workouts and progress: routines, exercises, sets, reps, weights, hold times, rest intervals, completion data, personal records, bodyweight entries and notes.
- Coaching content: if you use one-on-one coaching, the messages, form videos or photos, feedback and plans you share with your coach.
- AI inputs: the details you provide to generate a routine — such as goals, experience, equipment and schedule — and your interactions with AI features.
- Purchases: subscription status, plan, purchase history and transaction identifiers received from Apple, Google or our payment processor. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Device and usage: device model, operating system, app version, language, approximate region, feature usage, crash logs and performance data.
- Permissions: camera, photos, microphone or notifications only when you use a feature that requires them. You can revoke permissions in your device settings.
02How We Use Information
- Provide and operate BodyLoad, including your account and saved routines.
- Generate AI programming and adapt recommendations.
- Deliver optional human coaching and share the content you choose with your coach.
- Track workouts and show progress, records and history.
- Process subscriptions, credits and purchases.
- Send service messages, security alerts and reminders you enable.
- Improve performance, fix bugs, prevent abuse and comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your fitness or coaching data for third-party advertising.
03AI-Generated Programming
BodyLoad can create routines using automated and AI systems. The information you provide to build a program — goals, level, equipment and schedule — is processed to generate and refine the plan. AI output may be imperfect and is not medical advice.
We use service providers to power these features and require them to process your data only on our behalf and for the feature. You can choose not to use AI features and use manual or coach-led programming instead.
04Human Coaching
Coaching is optional. If you enroll, your coach can see the profile information, workout history and content you share — including form videos or photos — to design your plan and provide feedback. Coaches are required to keep your information confidential and use it only to deliver coaching.
You can stop coaching at any time. Information already shared may remain in your training history and continues to be handled under this policy.
05How We Share Information
- With your coach, when you choose to use coaching features.
- With service providers that help us host the app, authenticate accounts, process AI features, provide analytics and crash reporting, process payments and support users.
- With app stores and payment providers to process purchases and subscriptions.
- For legal and safety reasons, when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety and security.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.
- With your consent, for any other purpose we disclose at the time.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share fitness data with advertisers or data brokers.
06Legal Bases (EEA and UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (providing the app), legitimate interests (security, improvement and support), consent (optional coaching, notifications and certain data), and compliance with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time.
07Data Retention
We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, unless we are required to keep it for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes. Backup copies may persist for a limited period. Aggregated or anonymized data may be retained.
08Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Protect your credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
09Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. You can manage notifications in your device settings, change your profile information, or stop coaching at any time.
California residents have the right to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Users in Uruguay and other Latin American countries may exercise access, rectification, deletion and objection rights under applicable local law.
To exercise your rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
10Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account from the app's settings, if available, or by emailing us. See the account deletion page for the exact steps. We will delete or anonymize the associated data, subject to the retention exceptions above. Deletion is irreversible, so consider exporting any information you want to keep first.
11Children's Privacy
BodyLoad is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below those ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it. If local law sets a higher age, that age applies.
12International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
13Cookies and Local Storage
This website is static and does not use advertising cookies. The BodyLoad app may store preferences and session information locally on your device. You can clear app data in your device settings, although this may sign you out or remove local preferences.
14Third-Party Services and Links
BodyLoad may link to third-party websites, app stores, payment providers or coaching tools. Their own privacy policies govern their handling of your data. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
15Health and Fitness Disclaimer
BodyLoad provides fitness and training information, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting a program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury or are pregnant. Stop if you experience pain, dizziness or discomfort.
You use BodyLoad and follow any routine at your own risk. Always train within your limits and prioritize safe technique.
16Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. If changes are material, we may notify you in the app or by email where required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
